Research Assistant / PhD student
Research Assistant / PhD student (f/m/d)
The institute of Applied Quantum Technologies (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Roland Nagy) at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is looking for a highly motivated research assistant / PhD student (f/m/d).
Our research includes novel quantum technologies such as quantum sensing, quantum computing, quantum memory nodes, and integrated quantum circuits. Solid-state qubits, so-called color centers, in diamond and silicon carbide (SiC) provide very good properties to be used as basic platform for quantum applications. These color centers are optically accessible and can be manipulated by microwaves enabling various uses in future quantum technologies. Thus, based on color centers our group develops new quantum devices by conducting different quantum experiments.
