Yesterday, the fifth season - the Erlangener Bergkirchweih - started. We visited the Entla's Keller today together with Robert Cernansky (Ulm University) and enjoyed the good weather while having conversations together with beer and food.

Today Viktor Ivády from the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary, visited our group and gave a talk about his research. It was a great pleasure for us to learn about his recent results concerning color centers in silicon carbide - thank you for visiting us!

Today, Johannes Wesseler started as a new PhD-student in our group. His research will be concerned with the magnetometry through NV-centers in diamond. We lookforward to work with you!
